Our Virtual Airline is focused on fun and enjoyment of Flight Simulation.

There are no entrance exams to take and we don`t have too many rules at all. In fact we are very flexible with no requirement to fly from where you landed last, in sim, nor fly routes on the specified day and time. You can use the time compression feature of your simulator and if you need to step away from your flight there is no need to pause your simulator as our software, Compass, does not make checks to see if you are at your computer.

Our suite of comprehensive schedules will offer you the opportunity to fly from major international and regional airports. Alongside our schedules we feature a catalogue of tours, twenty five and counting, taking you from the Fjords of Norway, the Islands of the South Pacific, the stunningly beautiful Caribbean and the mountainous terrain of South America.

The aircraft fleet of Airwego is diverse and you are not limited to an aircraft type based on your hours or rank. Join today and you could soon be departing from Heathrow on a long haul flight, aboard the B747, bound for South America. Maybe a turbo-prop aircraft is your preference? No problem! Start the engines on one of our Dash 8-Q400s and away you go. Explore Our Fleet menu above for more details on our aircraft types.

Traditionally virtual airlines would allocate a single aircraft type to a route.

Our virtual airline approaches this slightly differently as we allocate an Aircraft Group to a route. Our Aircraft Groups include aircraft with similar runway, range and payload performance characteristics. You can then pick which aircraft in the Group you will use to operate your flight.

The Aircraft Groups are STOL Aircraft, Turbo-Props, Regional Jets, Narrow Body Jets, Low-Cost, Wide Body Jets, AirweGOLD, Sunspots Jets, SkiSpots Jets, Historic, Prop Freight and Jet Freight

We believe this approach gives our crew members the widest choice of routes from our schedules while also allowing you to fly your favoured aircraft type.

More details on our Aircraft Groups can be found in the Pilot`s Handbook.

Our primary Flight Simulation platform is Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020 & 2024) for PC.   X-Plane and legacy sims such as P3D and FSX are also supported.

How do we support them? Firstly our flight tracking software, Compass, works with them all. Secondly we offer aircraft painted in our liveries for supported platforms.

We are committed to making our hobby as accessible as possible to as many people as we can. By supporting multiple platforms and accepting `virtual aviators` of all skill levels we are well placed to help you enjoy your time with Airwego.

Here at Airwego we have our own inhouse flight tracking system named Compass which is compatible with all the flight simulators we support.

Compass is easy to use to record your Airwego fights. Built by Nigel "Father Compass", one of our Staff Team it is feature rich including weather reports for your departure and arrival airports, auto-login, suggested gate numbers for our bases based on aircraft type, a "pause" function, information on when your choosen route was last flown and much more.  It will even prompt you at the end of your flight to ‘file your report’

Our website has been developed and refined over many years. At its heart is the Main Dashboard from where you can review your own membership details, book flights, see who is online, download files and access our wider library of schedules and tours.

Both the website and Compass are under constant development as we look to add new features that will enhance your virtual flights.
